| The Boston Globe of Monday December 10, 2001, reports, "According to studio estimates released yesterday, 'Ocean's Eleven'--a remake of the curiously revered 1960 flick--took in $39.3 million from moviegoers in the United States and Canada, a record for a three-day December opening." Over the December 14-16 weekend, according to Boston Metro, Ocean's Eleven was the number two film at the box office, with Vanilla Sky in the number one position. |
