| Carol Channing and Pearl Bailey on Broadway is a pleasant TV special made in 1969. Neither singer is seen at her best here, however. Some of the songs weren't ideal choices, and some of Carol Channing's routines would have worked better in a nightclub rather than on the stage of a Broadway theatre. Still, the show is worth watching. |
