I spent most of the afternoon at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary yesterday. The weather was a little warm for a sport jacket. I wore a vest with pockets so that I could bring along my mobile phone and a few papers without having to worry about a backpack or brief case. I sometimes put things down and then forget about them. I think the vest worked well for my purpose.
I also ordered an unconstructed jacket through amazon.com to have in case the weather is OK for a jacket but the situation is one, say doing miscellaneous errands, where I don’t want the slight formality of regular constructed sport jacket.
