Ivy Style has an interesting article on the yellow oxford-cloth button-down shirt.

Red Clay Soul offers more thoughts on the yellow shirt.

I seldom wear yellow shirts myself. The color is somewhat unflattering to me. When my grandfather died in 1967, my grandmother gave me a dozen shirts that my grandfather had received as gifts but had never worn. I wore them often enough to wear them all out within ten years, except for one that I still have today. It is a yellow broadcloth shirt with narrow blue stripes about an inch apart and French cuffs.

Wasp 101 asks whether Brooks Brothers has gone too far by offering an extra slim fit shirt.
